The College of Health Sciences is seeking a relationship-focused professional to advance our network of clinical education partners. In this role, you will cultivate strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, maintain strong connections with existing clinical sites, and serve as the central liaison supporting clinical placement operations. Your work will directly contribute to the success of health profession students by expanding experiential learning opportunities and ensuring compliance with accreditation and assessment standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations to secure and expand clinical rotation, fieldwork, and experiential learning opportunities for College of Health Sciences students.
  • Identify, research, and engage prospective clinical sites by assessing educational capacity, building relationships with key administrators, and presenting program-specific student placement requirements.
  • Facilitate affiliation agreements, onboarding processes, and student placement coordination using clinical education management systems such as Exxat or similar platforms.
  • Strengthen and grow existing clinical partnerships through proactive communication, relationship management, site visits, and ongoing engagement that promotes a collaborative, long-term partnership model.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report clinical education data to support accreditation, assessment, quality improvement initiatives, and program decision-making in collaboration with academic and administrative stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across university departments and with external partners to enhance program visibility, support clinical site evaluations, develop promotional materials, and advance the overall success of CHS programs.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Health care related experience preferred.
  • Current valid driver’s license required.

Annual Security Report

In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Des Moines University publishes an annual security report and makes it available to all current and prospective students and employees.
