We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to manage and supervise the academic support team for our College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM). In this role, you’ll collaborate with department chairs and the associate dean for academic programs and curriculum to ensure smooth operations across both our basic science and clinical science departments. What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the oversight, supervision and development of academic assistant staff within the COM.
  • Assigns and directs work assignments, conducts performance evaluations, responsible for assessing coverage needs and is responsible for all HR personnel matters related to academic assistant supervision. 
  • Consults with the chairperson in each basic science and clinical science academic department to ensure that the department's operations are being adequately supported. 
  • Provides support to course director(s) for assigned academic course(s). 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Three years administrative experience required, preferably in an academic environment.
  • Higher education experience is a plus.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

The salary range is from $65,000 to $68,500 depending on experience.
